Richard Vermillion, Chief Executive Officer
Richard Vermillion serves as Fulcrum’s CEO, and was the company’s CTO from 1996 through 2011. In his former role, he was the chief architect of Fulcrum’s technology products, including PivETL™, eXclaim™, Fulcrum Analytical Server, and the company’s state machine technology. Richard is an expert in developing standards-based, object-oriented software for customer management applications. As CEO, Richard leads the executive team in setting and executing the company’s strategy.
Before joining Fulcrum, Richard worked as a technical specialist in information security for McKinsey & Co. He holds a B.S.E. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
David King, Executive Vice President
David King is Executive Vice President in charge of Fulcrum’s CRM solutions, and served as the company’s CEO from 2002 through 2011. He has worked in the database marketing sector for fifteen years. David oversees product development and marketing for our CRM solutions and is a frequent speaker in industry events and contributor to thought-leadership articles. In addition to his management role, David is also engaged in key client relationships.
David joined Fulcrum from KnowledgeBase Marketing, where he developed and managed their technical consulting and data warehousing groups. David holds a B.A. from Wake Forest University.
Nathan Baldwin, Executive Vice President
Nathan Baldwin is Executive Vice President in charge of P2P Solutions and previously managed the Client Services group at Fulcrum from 2004 through 2011. In his current role, he leads product strategy and business development and is also actively engaged in helping clients achieve success. A particular area of expertise for Nathan is performance-based marketing. He has created and managed most of the programs in which Fulcrum partners with its clients on a risk- and gain-sharing model.
Before joining Fulcrum, Nathan worked for Ammirati Puris Lintas and Lowe Lintas Group. He graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Advertising.
Tara Piazza, Senior Vice President, Operations
As SVP of Operations, Tara Piazza is in charge of all of the company’s delivery services, as well as financial and administrative functions. Tara previously managed the company’s research practice, where she had over ten years of experience conducting market research for many top brands and Fortune 100 companies across a wide range of industries. She has been a presenter at many industry conferences.
Prior to joining Fulcrum, Tara worked for the Advertising Research Foundation. Tara received a B.A. in Sociology from Colgate University, and an M.B.A. from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Scott Morrison, Executive Vice President
Scott Morrison is a leading expert in the design, development, and implementation of highly profitable customer relationship marketing programs. As an industry veteran, Scott has helped dozens of clients achieve exceptional results over his career, and he continues to play an active role in developing strategy for Fulcrum’s clients.
Prior to Fulcrum, Scott has been a member of the executive management team at Yankelovich Partners, The Martin Agency, and Devon DM & Advertising. He holds a B.S. from University of Miami with majors in marketing and economics, and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Advanced Analytics from Widener University.
Jeffrey Davis, Vice President, Technology
Jeffrey Davis is responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation of Fulcrum’s technology solutions for its clients. Prior to assuming this management role, Jeffrey served as the firm’s senior technical project manager where he managed major projects for clients in retail, banking, insurance, and medical devices. He has over 20 years of experience in data processing and systems development and has been at Fulcrum for more than 12 years.
Before joining Fulcrum, Jeffrey also worked for U.S. Surgical Corp., Tenera, Georgia Pacific, D&B Software, and Aetna. Mr. Davis earned his B.S. in Management and Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University.
Paul Swenson, President of Warranty Solutions
In 2006, Paul Swenson joined Fulcrum as President of the company’s Warranty Solutions Division. Paul brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing every aspect of warranty operations, including retail, manufacturing, point of sale, aftermarket/renewal, risk and underwriting, and administration.
Prior to Fulcrum, Paul held leadership positions, including President and CEO of Aon Innovative Solutions, an officer of Virginia Surety, and VP of Warranty Administration for Circuit City Stores. Earlier in his career, he also held management positions at such firms as Frito-Lay, Procter & Gamble, and Citicorp. Paul received his B.S. from Brigham Young University in Economics and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Quantitative Methods from the University of Washington.
Michael Finegold, Vice President, Analytics
Mike Finegold serves as VP Analytics. He is in charge of the research and development of new analytical solutions to meet the changing needs of clients and take advantage of the variety and quantity of data now available. He has held faculty positions with the statistics department at Carnegie Mellon University and the school of information systems at Singapore Management University, where his research focused on modeling consumer preferences, inferring latent network structures, and designing marketing experiments for social networks. Prior to academia he worked for several years as a management consultant, business development manager, and educator.
He received an AB in mathematics from Princeton University and a PhD in statistics from the University of Chicago.
